Your BIB is not a reading list. Treat it like a map.

Every cycle, the Bibliography lands like a dare: here are the pubs that can show up on your exam. Most of us respond by downloading everything, opening none of it, and hoping the quizlet our buddy found is "close enough."

That is not a plan. That is ambient anxiety with a PDF folder.

Start with scope, not with volume

Your rate and paygrade carve the library down hard. An E-5 in one rating is not living in the same chapters as an E-6 in another. If your study app cannot filter to *your* BIB, you are paying attention tax to material that will never appear on your answer sheet.

Citations beat confidence

Feeling sure is cheap. Being able to point at the paragraph in the pub is expensive — and it is what holds up under exam pressure. Demand sources from every answer you study. If a flashcard cannot show its work, it is entertainment.

Build a rhythm that survives the watch bill

Heroic six-hour weekend sessions lose to consistent 20-minute blocks you can actually keep. The goal is not to look busy in the berthing. The goal is to walk into the exam having covered the map, not the whole ocean.
